Semi Finals!

I got the good news yesterday morning that out of 200 entrants, I was one of the 15 that have made it into the semi finals for this years Launch Your Label competition!
I want to thank everyone for their love and support and a massive thank you to Leisa, Jarred, Manon, Sophie, Andrew, Andrew P, Sharna, Peter and Amelia, Marilyn and Sam for all of your help at the shoot to give me some great things to show in this competition.
I have a lot of work to do for the last part of the competition and as you can see, my competitive side has come out and couldn't be happier!


Lets cross our fingers that I make it to the top 5!

Winter Fever

With Saturday's photo shoot coming up, i've been having quite the manic week trying to get all samples ready. Its looking good and i'm bloody excited! Website will be up and running soon with all the favourite shots from the shoot! Woop woop!

Sound Suits!

He has the name of an awesome musician, but the two Nick Cave's are very different. I recently stumbled upon his work online and was completely wowed by his unique style of clothing. With a love of sound and dance, Cave decided he would create these "sound suits" combining materials such as twigs, knitwear, human hair, buttons and many other things that you wouldn't really dream of putting into clothing. I guess they're more like works of art than wearable items, but I love the fact that whenever people step inside these clothes, they feel like children again. The movement of each piece creates amazing sounds! Take a look...
